Go With An Open Mind
Highlights: God Control, Batuka, Frozen, I Rise, and generally getting to know Madonna better as a person
Critiques: Madonna’s tardiness, awful audience (booing, shouting, filming, rude comments), Uneven show pacing (definitely a work in progress that would benefit from a collaboration between one of her regular tour directors and an experienced Broadway director)
General comments: This is definitely not a tour for casual fans. People expecting simply a smaller sized stadium tour will be sorely disappointed. This is not a greatest hits dance fest. This is a toned down theatrical experience with a reflection on American Life set to the music of Madame X.
